About Me

- I have always been driven to create. As a child, my parents thought I would end up a trash collector. I would scour the neighborhood for items that I could bring home to make something out of. I actually built an entire go-cart out of items I procured from our neighbors trash. I fell in love with music in my teen years and sang with various bands for approximately 12 years. I finally realized that I was going to end up a bad lounge singer and decided to find other ways to make a living. Besides, the hours were terrible. After a short career as an architectural designer, I happened upon photography. I took courses at LSU in graphic design and fine art, and taught myself photography in the evenings. After working at Southern Camera for three years, I thought it was time to go out on my own and see if I could make a living. That was almost thirty years ago, and although there have been ups and downs, I have managed to survive all of these years. I feel so lucky to be able to make a living doing something I love. I can only wish the same for you!
